IMPORTANT TO KNOW

We conduct the PADI Advanced Open Water course over 2 days.

The course consists of two modules:

- Knowledge Development (no final exam required)

- Open water training (5 Adventure Dives)

This in-water, performance based course includes two "core" dives: a deep (max. 30meter) and underwater navigation dive. Also we consider peak performance buoyancy as mandatory. And two different "elective" dives.

Please prepare the following chapter in the PADI e-manual that we consider mandatory:

- Intro / Think like a diver

- Peak Performance Buoyancy

- Navigation Dive

- Deep Dive

Here are some of the optional Adventure Dives that you can chose from:

- Fish Identification

- Drift Dive

- UW Photography (+ 1000php camera rental)

- Night Dive (+ 1500php, minimum 3 divers. Availability depending on weather and tides)

DIVER PREREQUISITES

Certified as PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or equivalent entry level certification from another training organization (SSI, BSAC, CMAS, etc.)

We provide all you need for a safe and unforgettable experience. Beside being 12 years or older, being a motivated student and a reasonable good swimmer you only have to bring swim-wear, sun- and rain-protection. Water, snacks and lunch on board are provided. Let us know if you have a special diet or allergies. Don't bring valuables to a dive boat.  Diving with contact lenses is no problem. Find more FAQs here.

To check your fitness for diving you have to fill out a medical questionnaire. This will indicate if you have to see a physician prior taking a recreational scuba diving course.

TRAVELLING WITH FRIENDS

If you have friends who are certified divers they will be on the same boat. It is also possible that your friends join parts of your course. Non-Divers can join our trips for 1500p.

WHEN PLANING YOUR TRIP

Do not make too tight travel plans: an extra day or two after your OW course can be very useful. Also keep in mind that you can not take a commercial flight for at least 18hours after your last dive. Flying prior diving is no risk.

If we have to cancel a trip due to weather conditions we will grant a refund accordingly.

For more details see our Terms and conditions.
