ARRIVAL

  • Day before diving meet us at 5pm latest for…
  • Gear-Check, Course-Briefings, paperwork and payment
  • Due to Coast Guard Clearance procedures we do not accept early morning arrivals
  • Bring valid proof of dive experience and certification
  • No logged dives for 12 month requires a refresher

PAYMENT

  • Deposits and Course Fees are not refundable
  • Prepare the remaining balance in CASH (PHP, EURO or USD) upon arrival
  • There are 6 ATM in El Nido
  • Payment by card or online: + 6% administration fee
  • Environmental Ticket El Nido (200p for 10 days) is not included

CANCELLATIONS

  • Cancellations less than 14 days before arrival result in the loss of the full deposit. Please cover yourself with a travel insurance.
  • Cancellations in the morning due to sickness or any other reason result in the loss of the full deposit or are due to a re-booking fee of 1000php per person and day. Re-Bookings depend on availability, see terms and conditions. 
  • If trips gets cancelled for safety reasons we fully refund all deposits

INSURANCE

 

A Dive and Travel insurance is not mandatory in the Philippines. As a diver you are not covered by your Instructors' or Dive Shops' Policy. We recommend every student and certified diver: check if your travel insurance covers recreational scuba diving. If not: look eg into DAN or DiveAssure beside other insurance plans.



SCHEDULE

  • Meeting time: 8am at the dive shop
  • Return time: 3.30pm at the dive shop
  • Same boat trip for 2 and 3 dives

GEAR

  • Complete Scuba Gear is included
  • 300php discount per day for full own gear
  • Dive Computers + 300p per day
  • Bring swimwear, towel, sun protection, drybag

FOOD + BEVERAGE

  • Water, Coffee, Snacks and Lunch on board are included
  • Toilet, Shade, First Aid, Oxygen and spare gear on board

SAFETY + SECURITY

  • Don't bring valuables to the boat or a day on the beach
  • Avoid drunken crowds at night
  • Always wear helmet and shoes on a motorbike

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

AVAILABILITY

 

Online bookings need to be re-confirmed by Tabanka Divers via Email. To confirm a booking a non-refundable deposit is required from each participant. 

 

Cancellations of any booking 14 days or less prior arrival result in the loss of the full deposit. Re-bookings depend on availability and are due to a re-booking fee of 1000p per person and day. Cancellations or no-show due to sickness of 1 person or more in a group or delays of travel or any other reason result in the loss of the deposit or course fee of each cancelled participant. We recommend travel and/or dive insurance for each person joining recreational diving activities.

 

COURSES AND TRAINING PROGRAMS

 

Failure of a participant to complete the full course requirements for any reason including ear problems or sickness will result in additional charges being made to complete the course at a later stage. This includes not being able to demonstrate competence to meet the performance requirements as laid down by the PADI or SSI Course Standards within a reasonable time frame (2 days in-water training). Each additional day of in-water training is due to 3500php per person.

Do not plan a too tight schedule for diving courses. If a student can't continue or finish a started course with Tabanka Divers, a referral document will be issued which will hold good for a period of 12 months from the date of last portion of the course completed. Full course fees apply in any case.

 

All students participating in a diver training course are required to complete mandatory course documentation in an honest and reliable manner. Any known medical conditions must be declared and notified to Tabanka Divers prior to the start of any water based dive course.

 

Failure to declare medical conditions in accordance with the Medical Declaration form which then later becomes known will result in student suspension from the course until a satisfactory medical certificate has been gained. In the event a medical certificate cannot be granted, course fees will not be refunded.

 

CERTIFIED DIVERS

 

Proof of training level, experience (dive log) and signature on a liability release for recreational scuba diving are required.  Divers should inform Tabanka Divers in case of any medical conditions prior to starting any recreational scuba diving or snorkelling activities.
